Die japanischen Hardware-Verkaufscharts für die Woche vom 04.08. bis 10.08.2008 haben es gezeigt: Die Xbox 360 nimmt richtig an Fahrt auf. Microsoft konnte in der besagten Woche den Absatz der Xbox 360 um sagenhafte 365,80 Prozent steigern. Der Grund für den galaktischen Aufstieg der Xbox 360, die sonst in Japan eher ein Ladenhüter ist, ist das JRPG “Tales of Vesperia”. Derzeit ist die Xbox 360 in Japan sogar komplett ausverkauft. Bis September möchte Microsoft Japan neue Konsolen ins Land holen. Microsoft zum plötzlichen Lieferengpass: “Currently, the Xbox 360 is sold out, and retailers are unable to restock their supply. This is a result of our own sales targets being exceeded by the actual customer sales. We deeply apologize for this inconvenience to our customers, retailers and business partners.” (ok)
